Through our partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor and the Office of Job Corps, ETR currently employs over 900 full-time workforce development staff, serving approximately 2,500-3,000 young adults in both residential and non-residential campuses every year.
Job Corps is the country's most extensive nationwide residential career training program and has been operating for over 50 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24, complete their high school education, while earning certification in a Trade, and also learning Independent Living Skills, and Career Readiness Skills. Once they complete their certification, our Career Transition Services Team ensures the students obtain the necessary community connections, tools, and resources needed to continue being successful once they leave the program. Job Corps has successfully trained and educated over two million individuals since 1964.
Job Corps offers training in the Medical Trades: Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, and Medical Administrative Assistant. Automobile trades: Auto Body Collision and Repair, Auto Mechanics, Auto Technology. Construction Trades: Tile Setting, Cement Mason, and Electrical. Advanced trades: Overhead Line, Rural Underground Distribution, SMART Meter, and our Drone Piloting.
